A lazy Sunday of sketching was the result of this digital illustration. I thought I'd try out bit of a KAWS style as I'm a major fan of his work. I think I made the line width's a little too thick but asides from that I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

I was just playing around with some different techniques on the wacom tablet, and tried some comic book stylings on a photo of Stevie Wonder, this was the end result. I dig some elements from it, others not so much but all in all learnt a few cool techniques which I can use on some sketches later on down the track.

I watched this insane video the other day of a guy creating photorealistic fingerpaintings within 3 minutes which got me thinking sometimes we spend way too much time being precious with projects its good to just see what we can create with a limited amount of time.

I tend to shine with deadlines so setting myself a 20 minute illustration deadline was really interesting to see what I could come up with.

Big Up's to those who attended the iHart Charity Exhibition in Perth on Friday night. Now being a Melbournian (is that a term)?) i was unable to attend but donated 2 pieces in my absence the Mice Cube piece & a Chuck Taylors collab with Melbourne based artist Chris Hancock, where we painted up a pair of kicks. The Mice Cube print I heard was the first to sell out aswell!

Alot of great artists were involved & It all went to a great cause.

IHART in conjunction with Converse, Poyce & Phoenix Events presents a force of local and international artists dedicated to showcasing Perth's first exhibition of sneakers, prints, and skate decks with all funds being donated to the Heart Foundation.

Myself & Melbourne based artist Chris Hancock were busy working away on these puppies for the cause.

IHART - a collective of local and international artists dedicated to raising funds for the Heart Foundation through the display and creation of art on sneakers, prints and the underside of skate decks. This entirely not-for-profit event will have all funds donated to the Heart Foundation and see the inclusion of local and international artists all working towards the same great cause.

I Hit up the Melbourne visual impact expo yesterday, alot of dope signage techniques were on display, car wraps, Wacom/adobe new equipment etc.. This Ferrari was definitely one of the standouts of the show.
